Hi guys, I'm currently getting about 300 km to a tank of gas, about 60 liters of fuel, before I need to fill up. It is pretty hilly where we are and the roads have lots of curves so we drive pretty slow, top speed 60 kmph. But half of it is downhill, is this normal? Seems horrendously thirsty to me. We live on an island so the gas is very expensive out here $170.00 to fill up.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

With a V6 and 4wd, based on driving conditions, that may be about all you can get from this vehicle. Is the check engine light on or anything that indicates something is mechanically wrong? Also, have you checked the condition of the engine air filter? If it is extremely dirty, it can cause higher fuel consumption.

I agree with you, that is really poor mileage. Let me know if there are any issues with running, power, anything you can think of that may indicate an issue.

Take care,
Joe

Hi thanks for that, I'll check the air filter, it runs really well otherwise, no issues. Might just be the mileage in the terrain as you said, I appreciate the help.
