My choke was plug into into a tester under the hood thats what was making my fuse blow.had a shop check my power and ground on my sending unit which is bran new they said both where fine. Gas guage response when he was un pluggn and plugging back in but it still reads a quarter tank. What else could it be?

it could be the gauge, you need to see what power is getting to sender like voltage it could also be a shorted wire.
