Gas gauge

My gas gauge goes up and down every time I stop at a stop light. Is it because of my electrical or is it my fuel pump?

That sounds like a bad fuel sending unit that tells you how much gas is in the gas tank. It snaps onto the fuel pump housing. You can replace the sending unit by itself or most of the fuel pump assembly's come with the sending unit.
