I was driving along and my car just shut off. I was told that it probably is not the high pressure fuel pump but a secondary feed fuel pump. after looking online I found a fuel pump and sender unit in the fuel tank. upon inspection a fitter said that it was not a pump but just a sender, but what makes me wonder is why are there three fuel lines on the top of this unit? Can anyone please advise before I lay out a lot of money?Jay Jay

We do not have that vehicle here in the US. However, I suspect you have a saddle tank with a unit on each side. It sounds like he pulled out the wrong side. That sender likely has wires and lines that travel across the inside of the tank to the other unit where the actual pump is.
