Okay, my car has the coded listed above. I changed the gas cap, and still have that code. Maybe the charcoal canister? Also when I get low on fuel my car has shut off and, then started. Randomly it wants to shut off then it does better with more gas.
Also, I have been smelling gas when I am in the car.

The p0455 code can not only mean that you have a huge leak in the evaporative emissions system or the purge valve is stuck on and there is a constant vacuum in the fuel tank. Most common issue that I have with these vehicles is the fuel tank grommet that the filler pipe slides through in the tank, it will get dry rot and crack. Also the fuel pumps usually fail at the one hundred thousand mile mark. Canisters can also get damaged due to their mounting point at the rear of the vehicle and can cause a leak. The best place to start is with a good visual inspection at the rear of the vehicle, specifically the canister for physical damage and also the tubes connected to it for damage. I've attached a picture of the grommet and also a guide that can help. https://www.2carpros.com/articles/evap-system-code-repair

If I can jump in and request that we start a new post for questions that are not directly related to to the topic. The only reason is others will not find the answer to this question under a different subject. Basically this site is here to assist those that need direct help but also provide a resource for others that have the same issue.
