Can I put a 1992 Saab fuel pump into a 1992 BMW?

I seriously doubt it, but I would need more specific model information to be able to look it up for sure. Generally though, manufacturers like to make their own proprietary stuff so you have to buy theirs. It does not help that Saab is engineering-wise a very Swedish car, while BMW is a very German car.

I would say no. Connections will most likely be different.

As JIS said connections will be different. Also, the fuel pressure requirements are probably different too.

I am not sure if the 1992 fuel pump is for a BMW. Only use a direct replacement for the vehicle. If the "1992 fuel pump" is not for the vehicle year, make, and model, do not use it.
