Fuel door is stuck

I went to go fill my tank and found that the fuel door release button wasnt opening the door. I found where the manual release was supposed to be and found that its missing. I'm not sure what to do from here besides forcefully break the door open. Is there anything else to do to get it open?

Hi,

When you say the manual release is missing, is it just the handle or does it not appear to be where it is supposed to be? Basically, is there a place for it but it was broken off? Do you see a cable that the handle would have been connected to? If so, just use some pliers and pull the cable and it should release it.

If not, then yes. You are going to have to pry the door open and then replace the actuator and possibly the door as well if the clip breaks.
