Foreign object in center air vent

Kind of freaking out, this foreign object is actually a Juul battery which is concerning me more than if it were a coin or some paper.

I’ve already taken out the vent and can’t see it, and I assume because the design looks like the vents follow right into the duct that it may have fallen into the ducts into the system itself.

I can’t hear anything at the moment and I know it completely fell in somewhere.

I will attempt with one of the flexible grabbers tomorrow but I want to know does this pose any dangers? Should I bring immediate attention to this? Is it possible it fell out of my car completely?
I looked into the diagram of the layout of the cooling system but doesn’t seem to any open bays (not that I thought it had one) I’m just worried that if I can’t hear it then I’m not sure if it’s dangers. I don’t want to spend loads of money for someone to strip it.

Hi,

Since it is a battery, it is a little of a concern to me simply because the heater core is below the defroster and it gets hot (engine coolant temp), and batteries shouldn't be exposed to excessive heat. If it has fallen through, I don't know if you will be able to get it with a grabber.

As far as falling out, there really isn't anywhere that could happen.

I attached an exploded view and highlighted the air ducts for side defrost and the W/S. Pic 2 shows how to remove the center duct, which requires the removal of the instrument panel.

Do me a favor. Tap on the heater box with your hand or a small rubber mallet and see if you can hear it moving. Remember, the heater box is plastic, so don't hit it hard. LOL

Also, I want you to remove the cabin air filter to see if by chance, you can see it. The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box. I attached directions below for removal and replacement. Remove it slowly in the event it got to that point. We don't want it to drop further.

Let me know if you can hear it and if you can see it from the cabin air filter.
