When we try to play a tape it plays for a second then a code cst shows up what do that mean? Help!

Sounds like there is a fault with the cassette (cst)

The video system consists of the following components:
video cassette player (VCP) located in the floor console
overhead assembly containing the video display screen
remote control
wireless headphones
FM modulator, located behind the RH cowl trim panel

The VCP, and overhead assembly are not repairable
