Engine Performance problem
2000 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100k miles

put new tune up on. Had been running rough and needed plugs and wires. Had a diagnostic done after tune up and it registered a misfire in #5 cylinder. How can I repair this? All wires and plugs are correctly installed. Old plugs were dark and one of them had an electrode half burned off. Idles better but still has poor response on take off. Please help

P0305 Misfire

Check that cylinder's sparkplug/compression/injector

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
