2000 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

van has got 40psi of fuel pressure but it still wont start and has fire to plugs

Hi:
If you have fuel and spark, it should start unless the timing has jumped, or there isn't enough engine compression. If you use starting fluid will it start for a short amount of time?
