1995 Ford Windstar oil burning too fast

what are some of the reasons oil is burning to fast?

First, does the van create blue exhaust? If not, it isn't burning it. If it is, it could be piston rings (which is hard to believe at this mileage) valve stem seals... The most common reason for oil consumption are leaky gaskets.
