1997 Ford Thunderbird lost oil under car

1997 ford thunderbird 2dr xl 176,000 mile 8 cylder, has been intemittently over heating with boiling over no high temperature gage reading or warning or no check engine light and replaced some coolant, now son took car out last night, check engine light came on and flashed, car shuddered while driving, checked car this am and found oil under car. Checked dipstick no oil level read at all, blown engine, head gastet?

Hi there,

Wash down as best you can, add oil to safe level and check that oil filter and drain plug are tight. Start up but turn off if excessive noise starts. Run and watch for leaks, if oil loss is as bad as described it should not take long for you to see where it is coming from. Re post if you require further assistance.

Thanks for info, found it was antifreeze leaking not oil/ antifreeze leaking from small crack in plastic sleeve into engine via small hose front left back of engine right of heater coil hose. Can that be epoxied to fix?
