First thing I would check is all your fuses. Sometimes a cigarette lighter fuse powers other circuits as well.

There are three accessory wires that are connected into your ignition switch, (not the key switch, but the electrical switch at the bottom of the steering column). This has metal contacts that slide up and down a board. Possibly one of the contacts are worn and one of the accessory wires isn't getting power? I do not know, just a guess, but you should be able to check with your volt meter.

All three are grey/orange wires on a 1994, one is for the radio and climate control and one of the others is part of the blower motor circuit. All three should have 12V when key is in "on" position. The sliding electric switch is around $40 if it is defective.

Hope that helps,

Ryan

I just had the same problem and I went through all of my fuses just to see if there was something I was over looking and sure enough it was the RUN fuse.
