1994 Ford Tempo Stalling and transmission

My neighbor has a 1994 Ford Tempo. He says he can drive the car about 30 mile to his girlfriends house stay for a little bit and about halfway back, the car stalls. So 45 mile and the car is having an issue. It only has 28500 miles on it. Also the car will not go over 65 miles per hour.

True odometer mileage is unknowable since odometer starts over at 99999 +1 = 00000. If it does not restart after stall, check for no spark or no fuel pressure. When starting out from stopped, the transmission should shift 2 times to higher gears. Check the color of the plugs. White color means to lean a mixture with possible loss of full power. Does it accellerate well (peppy)
