1993 Ford Tempo High Idle

I have changed the IAC Valve and it's still the same. It idles way to high, what else could it be?

When did the problem start?The most likely cause is extra air getting past/after the butterfly?A vacuum leak(cracked or broken hoses)or the butterfly is not closing completely?Are their any other misbehaviors besides the high idle?Timing can effect idle but that is computer controlled so a computer malfunction could be responsible?Maybe a sensor is out of range/malfunctioning?You should get the codes read.
