2003 Ford Taurus squeal coming from belt area

my car has squeals coming form the fan belt area-there is no wear on the belt as far as I can see yet when I start the car there is a funny thumping sound and after it squeals for the rest of the drive? I think that it may be 1 of the wheels that turn the fanbelt -but I am unsure

Best to remove the belt out and spin each pulley by hand suspect idler or tensioner
