Blower motor resistor location?

I got a blower motor resistor that I am trying to replace but I don't see where it goes behind the glove compartment door. Where did they hide it? Thank you Bill

I am attaching the info below on this system but here is a guide that will help with no blower motor operation as that is your likely issue:

If your blower motor is not operating then we need to check the blower motor for voltage when it is on. If there is no voltage then we need to go back through the system to find were there is voltage.

When I turn on either the heat or air they both work however my dial will only work on high. I purchased a new blower motor resistor but don't know where it is?

Hi,

The blower motor resistor is located basically behind the glove box. It really is simple to replace.

If you take a look at the attachments below, they provide the directions to remove and replace the resister.

My air conditioner and heating system has completely stopped working in car. Around August it would only operate on the highest level and just a couple of days ago it completely stopped working. Could you please tell me what could have happened? Thanks

Is this an auto temp control? or a manual a/c system?
Does it set by degree? You most likley need a blower motor resistor, remove the passenger dash insulating panel(under the dash) then the resistor...On the chance its the Blower motoor speed control, I give you a

Manual A/C-heater system consists of heater core, blower motor, compressor, compressor clutch, condenser, evaporator, A/C cycling switch, A/C compressor relief valve, A/C clutch relay, A/C pressure transducer, vacuum controlled airflow control doors, pollen filter and ducting to distribute temperature controlled air. A/C system is a cycling clutch type with a fixed orifice tube. Manual A/C-heater system heats or cools vehicle interior depending on function selector position and temperature selected. See Fig. 1 .

BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR
Blower motor resistor is located behind glove box, on evaporator housing. Blower speed is determined by current path through 3 resistor elements. During high speed blower operation, resistor elements are by-passed. A thermal limiter in blower motor resistor protects blower motor circuit. If resistor overheats due to excessive heat, thermal limiter opens, preventing current flow through resistor elements. Thermo limiter will open at approximately 250 °F (121 °C).
