I HAVE A 2002 FORD TAURUS AND JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT IT USED AT A DEALERSHIP. I NOTICE THAT SOMETIMES THERE IS A JERK WHEN I ACCELERATE. MY BOYFRIEND SAYS IT SEEMS LIKE THE MOTOR ISN'T GETTING ENOUGH FUEL. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME. COULD THIS BE THE FUEL PUMP FAILING? OR COULD MY FUEL LINES BE CLOGGED? IF THEY ARE HOW DO I FIX THAT PROBLEM?

Hi there,
Get a fuel pressure test and flow test done, replace the filter and have the engine tuned, also have a scan done to check for any set fault codes.
