I have a car that i replaced the airbag in and need to reset the light. Simply disconnecting the battery doesn't work.

When checking air bag system operation, and upon completion of each diagnostic test, check for faults in air bag system. To check system, turn ignition switch to RUN position. If AIR BAG warning light illuminates for 6 seconds and then goes out, air bag system is functioning properly and no fault exists.
If a fault is detected in air bag system during initial system check, AIR BAG warning light will flash a code sequence, indicating a fault in system. Count number of flashes after fault code has cycled twice. Number of flashes represents a code number used to diagnose air bag system
