Hi,

Just got an oil change and had the tires rotated. I was told that there was movement in the front wheels and that I needed new ball joint? And tierod end?
Since then my steering vibrates and I am very concerned. I was told to take my car to another garage to have a qualified mechanic look at it.
I am ready to do this but since I am not a mechanic I want to know what is involved so that I can try to understand the repair he will recommend. Also would you suggest two estimates.

Thank you for being there.

Loosing a ball joint or tie rod is not a fun thing
definite you should have the front end check by a qualified person
getting more than one opinion (always best)
note :
if you didn’t have the shake before the tire rotation and oil change
check tires and have them balanced
