I need to know why the battery light blinks on the dashboard when the car is running. I had the battery checked and they said that it was fine. I do have a short in the system having to do with the door locks.

Hi there,
If the battery light is on the alternator is not charging the system, first thing to do is get the charge rate tested, and repair the alternator if there is a problem there. Do this first.
