1999 Ford Taurus fans not cooling

Engine Cooling problem
1999 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i changed out the eec computer and the low tempre risiter and the temp senser on the themasta see toe work but I stll get an over heat and no fan hi and low working thanks

Unplug the connector at the fans, use a test light and see if any power is getting to the fans. Turn on the a/c, fan should start up with the a/c, if no power at connector, let me know, if it gets power, the fan is no good. You can also run a fused wire from the battery positive terminal, and a ground to the negative terminal, fan should run.

In a/c I only have full fan on cold thats it no heat in the heat. The fan only runs on hi

OK wait a minute, which fan are we working on, the one for the cabin(heat a/c) or the engine cooling fan at the radiator?

Well both arnt working but right now the radator fan the ac one you told me to tun on that sepret form that other one and it a hi and low fan for heet temp

The outside is working now the computer had not set up with it but when I shut off the car thy shut off to is that normal I thought one would still cool for a little while

Right next to the thermostat on the back of the engine there are two sensors, one of them controls the fan. Depends how hot the engine is if the fan runs a bit or not!
