The code was for the fuel cap, and I changed that, but after a few miles the light came back on with the same code. Was tould it could be a server vaccum leak, could not find one. Egine runs fine, with no trouble.

For proper procedure, start by posting the code number.

Evap large leak dectected. PO455 code

Sorry about the code, I did not have it at the time of Post.

I wanted to check the evap canister, where is it located.

I don't see or hear any vacuum leak. Car runs fine, with good engine idle and acceleration.

What is a purge or vent solanoid?

Auto zone printed a list for me.

If you are experiencing a P0455 code but cannot find a leak you likely have a faulty Vapor Management Valve. It is located underneath the battery. With a scan tool, monitor Fuel Tank Pressure and Purge Duty Cycle, after a minute or so of idling the pcm will start increasing purge duty cycle. When this happens fuel tank pressure should drop. If it doesn't try tapping on the Vapor Mgmt Valve with a long screwdriver. If FTP then drops then replace the valve.
