1998 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic? Miles

My gas gage and temp gage does not work, the seat belt light and door adjar light, do not come on when key is turned on. When I replace the blown fuse, they work just a second and then blows the new fuse. What can I do to find the problem? Also the airbag light on the dash panel won't go off. It smoked from the dash behind the gas gage once and I immeadetly removed the fuse, after that it didn't do that again. Do you have a wiring diagram for all this or how can I check and repair it?

Have to start by checking the area where the smoke coming from
Wiring diagram at this point not going to help but will confuse matter
Remove fuse and use a light bulb in place
Check circuit and disconnect component light bulb go out you found the problem or the troubled area
