My car is in getting safetied and the mechanic just called me to let me know it has a miss in the engine well it idles rough just enough to notice while idling is there an easy way to check spark plugs on an SHO or would that even be the problem I was thinking to that the guy I bought the car off of might have put reg octane in it when the car calls for high octane would that matter or

The only way to check plugs is to remove them and inspect. As far as a missfire, the computer should pick up on it and the check engine light should come on. If that has happened, have the computer scanned to determine which cylender is causing the miss.

As far as the fuel, it shouldn't have hurt anything.

Let me know if you have other questions.

I got my rotors changed today during the safety but after that I could notice that something from the front wheels is making a noise just enough to hear and feel in the pedal and steering wheel dont get me wrong it could be anumber of things especially the car sat for a month after I bought it cause I had to change the alternator and whatnot could it be that the car has metallic brake pads and they need to be worn in or could it be a wheel bearing or tie rod end or balljoint thansk againg I love this website
