Engine Cooling problem
1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 95 Ford Tarus and when the car gets hot it stalls. When it is cool outside the car runs, but is sluggish. What could this be? Mass Air Flow Sensor and Oxygen Module?

Does the car restart? Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Yes the car will restart after cooling down. The check engine light has not come on. We let the car sit for 4-5 hours on Saturday and than was able to drive it back home after it cooled off. No don't know how to check the fuel pressure.

When the engine won't start, there will be on of two things missing in this case, fuel or spark. Here are the how to's for checking both. Remember, do this when it doesn't start.
