Hi, this car was just given to me and when you turn the blower on for the heat/ac it works but the higher you turn it up the louder and stronger the vibration gets. Do you think this is a problem with the motor or the blower fan?

Hi there,

often a foreign body works it way into the fan and is caught up in the blower fan blades, this will cause a vibration and noise when on, the faster it goes the worse it gets.

Thanks for the tip. Can you tell me how hard it is to get to the fan blades to check it? If it is not too hard I would like to try myself before taking it to a mechanic'

When I can access the data base, I will see if I can send some pics on how to access the blower motor, I can do this tomorrow.

Thanks for the help. I have one other question. My plastic case that houses the ignition switch is loose. My brother told me that it could be popped off and the ignition would still work properly. Is this true. When my mom uses the car she has a hard time keeping it lined up with the key so that it will turn the engine over. If this will work I won't bother replacing the ignition. Thanks.

Hi there,

As I am in Australia, we don't have that model here, so I am unsure of that, best ring a local mechanic and ask that question.
