I own a 1993 2 wheel drive Ford ranger with a 3.0 v6 manual transmission. When I turn my key it makes one click noise and no evidence of trying to turn over. I found the click noise which was the cellinoid. I replaced that and it made the same noise and still no turnover. After that I broguth my battery in which turned out to have a bad cell so I bought a new battery. After replacing that same exact thing. One big click from the cellinoid and still nothing. I am lost. Any help?

Sounds like a bad battery or your cables are corroded or not tightened correctly. Also make sure the cables are properly connected. If all seem alright time ot replace the ignition relay. But im pretty sure the battery is faulty or the cables are corroded and not tightend correctly.

Try jumping it. Does it start?

I actually cleaned and checked the batter cables and terminals and its a brand new battery. I even went as far as to push start the truck, bu that only lead to the tired locking up, but not even close to starting. Could it have anything to do with the ignition switch or relay?

It is possible that you recieved another bad battery that has happend to me before. Either the whole starter is no good or the cables are loose somewhere. Id try jump starting it or taking a battery froma vehicle that you know works. If that does not work then there is a problem wiht a cracked or cut cable or a bad relay. But I can almost guarentee it is in the battery cables or the battery. Make sure the batt. Is 12v
