I am changing rear brakes on my friends truck. When changing shoes can I just change the shoes and not the rest of it. And do I have to bleed the brakes after if I only do that?

Hi there,

When changing the shoes, it is always a good idea to replace the wheel cylinders as well, you don't have to worry about the rest of the hardware, back off the hand brake and the main adjusters, bleed the brakes, do the main adjustment then the handbrake.
