I have a 2000 Ford Ranger, 4X4, Automatic, when I back up with the steering wheel turned there is a "clicking" sound that comes from the front driver's side wheel. After removing the hub cover on the alloy wheel it seems warm. The hub was warm compared to the other side before removing it. Could this be a wheel bearing. Or brakes. Any suggestions or advise is appreciated. Thank you.

The Ranger wheel bearing are pretty dependable. Try to get a quick touch on the rotors to see if there is a heat difference with them. I am inclined to thenk the pads aren't sliding as well as the should and the movement you hear is the pad shifting.
