I have a 1997 Ford Ranger with 206,650 miles. I know thats a ton of miles but she runs awsome. The only thing that agrivates me is the sweeking under the hood. I know it is bad but I spray that belt dressing spray just so I can hear(and to stop the noise). I replaced the belt and tensioner pulley (thinking that whould help). My A/C pump does not work (the front does not spin when a/c is on in truck) so therefore I have no A/C. To me it sounds like it is coming from the a/c compressor. Should I replace the A/C pump w/ clutch? Or is it something totally different?
