Hi, how do you check the emergency brake?
How do you change the emergency brake cables?
My trucks rear drum brakes are locking up and won't allow the truck to run properly.

Thank you.

Rear wheel can lock up from leaking wheel cylinders as well.

IF the cables are not releasing you need to get the drums off and manually bring them back, from where they hook on. Determine what ones are sticking. May need to disconnect the fron from the rears first. IF the rears loosen up fter disconnecting you probably need a front one, then check at eash wheel to see if they are sticking at either. If one or both are, then pull the drums.
