1994 Ford Ranger fitting cylinderhead

1994 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My ranger has a cracked cylinderhead due to overheating. It's a single overhead cam, 8 sparkplugs engine. I found an engine that comes from a ford mustang 1991, also 4 cylinders, single overhead cam and 8 sparkplugs. Will the cylinderhead of the mustang fit my ranger engine??

what size litre engine? bolt pattern? compare them i am kinda iffy that it will work.

both are 2.3 liter engines....about the bolt pattern I don't know it yet

if the patterns are the same you are good to go! if not you may need a new engine or some modifications,
