All engines have rods. The rods are wat attaches the piston to the crank. The valve train opens the valves to release exhaust and take air into the cylinders. Beings that it seized up means your rings melted to the cylinder and ALL bearings in the engine are fried and the crankshaft is garbage now. Go buy a used engine from a salvage yard, dont waste your time rebuilding the other motor because it would be more expensive to do so. A brand new used engine will run you $500 or less, depending on mileage.

Sorry I ment to type in push rods I know I have pistion rods

what happened was the lack of oil pressure screwed up my engine bearing and camshaft bearings the engine bearings then left me with no oil pressure even after the pump was replaced then with bad engine bearing I got partial oil pressure to the pistons but not the head so the camshaft bearing in the head locked up and welded camshaft to the head the noise I heard was the timing belt slippin I am now rebuilding the engine its only costing me 260 dollars to rebuild
