1988 Ford Ranger V6 Two Wheel Drive Manual 130000 miles

My 88 ranger runs great. The last two rainy days it stalled and would not restart. After it sat for some time it would restart but stall again after driving a few miles if raining. After it stopped raining it is running fine again. Any idea what the problem is.

Classic symptoms of bad ignition wires. When the problem is not happening, you can mist water on the wires to check and see if it will act up to verify my thoughts.

Good call, I have also seen the EEC power relay start to go out and cause this issue, it is close to the door jam which can cause it to get wet. I would swap it out to see if it helps, here is the location. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
