Electrical problem
1995 Ford Probe 4 cyl Automatic 135000 miles

This is related to a previous question I asked... I do have a bad keyless entry module on the car, the dealer said it would be at least $500 to replace. I'm sure that's almost as much as the car is worth at this point, but it seems that it is draining the battery constantly as it continually tries to lock and unlock the doors when not in use. Is there a way to just unhook it myself to stop these problems?? I was present when they were inspecting at dealership, and I am aware where the module is located and how to get to it. If this can be done, how?

Thanks a mil!
