1994 Ford Probe idol

my car idols at 3000 to 4000 rpm and the check engine light randomly comes on and off and since its a 94 aperantly it does not save the code, and when u turn the car off and back on the light is off so when a shop trys to scan it nothing comes up. can u help me?

Hello,

Check for Vacuum Leaks it is a common cause of high idle. Also check the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve)
