I want directions on where the thermostat is and how to replace it with directions and a visual picture

Follow the top radiator hose down to the water outlet on the engine; it is in the water outlet.

Drain radiator to below level of thermostat.
Disconnect coolant temperature switch at thermostat housing.
Using pliers, clamp hose clamps, then slide toward center of hose.
Remove upper radiator hose.
Remove two attaching nuts, thermostat housing, thermostat and gasket. Do not pry housing off.
Reverse procedure to install. Tightening to specifications

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
