1995 Mercury Tracer Won't Move in Drive Fix

I have a 1995 mercury tracer and when iI put the car in drive it will not move, when I put it in low it moves
but chatters, it will move when in reverse.

If the fluid level is OK, replace or rebuild the tranny.
