hey ive got a 1988 ford laser and it keeps stalling when i brake. Also when i start it i have to rev it alot too keep it idling, but it wont idle unless i have some presure on excellerator. When driving it running very rough and is making weird noises.

Dad suggested it could be the carberator??

Hi there ,

One common problem with these cars are cracked & broken vacuum lines have these check and if there is a sucking noise when you hit the brakes have the booster checked foe vacuum leaks.
