My mustang won't keep a steady idle. It runs from 700 to 1500 at times. The cars been doing this for 4 plus months now, in summer and now winter. It changes on a whim. I asked Bobby kurgan a NMRA Champion that owns a shop and he said it could be a vacuum line but I can't find a bad one. The car has no codes could you help me?

could be a vaccum leak somewhere, best way to test that is to use a smoke tester, carb cleaner works well too but isnt no where as easy and conclusive as a smoke test.

clean out your throttle body also, and your iac module, check the pintle should be moving freely.
