So a few weeks the A/C was not as cold as it should of been so I added some of that Arctic freeze stuff. The problem was that on the low/suction side it had to much pressure in the line for the bottle of arctic freeze to push any in the line. Instead freon was going into the bottle. Every time I connected the arctic freeze there was so much pressure that I would end up letting about 3 to 5 sec of freon out of the line. This happened about 10 to 15 times so 45 to 75 seconds of freon loss plus what ever amount it put into the arctic freeze can from the line. Then I notice that the electric fan on the back of the radiator is not turning on when the car is on (its 100+ degrees here that thing should kick in within 2-5 sec). So I check the fuses and relays in the fuse box under the hood. All are good, then I think the fan is gone so I buy a new one but the same thing happens. Then I put the old fan back in and it started to turn very very slowly then stopped. So my Question is, is there a relay or fuse between the fuse box under the hood and the fan connection. And is the reason I cant add freon because the pressure is so high because the condenser is just not getting enough air Thur it because of the fan not moving to cool down and pull the heat out of the line. Has anyone seen something like this happen before, is there something im missing. Its not fun driving a black car when the heat index is 115 degrees in the shade. Please help.
