once I put the car in gear I feel like the car wants to go really bad, the rpm go up and down I have to press the brake pedal hard, otherwise the car push foward or back if I put reverse

Seems the idling speed is too high. Check for vacumn leaks which would increase the idling speed.

Check the coolant level as well.

Is the Check Engine Light indicating?
