if my mustang gt has a cylinder misfire in cylinder 2, (says my computer) what causes the coils to burn up quickly?

Did you replace all coils at same time? They seem to go down one at a time if you repalce them one at a time? This is assuming you have COP (coil on plug) system. I tend to advise people to replace COP all at the same time. With a good quality coil. Hope this helps
