I am looking into a purchase of 97" Cobra and the seller states one of the rod bearings is going out and it will cost 1,200 to fix aprox. I am curious to know what kind of other damage and or repairs to include aprox cost could be involved with this issue. From my understanding these motors are more expensive to fix and this could be way under estimated.

Please advise.

Thank you!

If you are to do the job your self it would be still under estimate
I would consider having it checked before making the purchase
or get an estimate on rebuilding the engine
