I am having a possible misfire problem. I have a 97 Mustang Cobra. I drive about 20-30miles a day to and from work. I don't know if this is related but just in case if it is, about three years ago I started getting a P0125 check engine light - Engine temp too low for closed fuel loop. I only got this when it was cold out so I never worried about it. Now, about 3 months ago, I started getting P0304 and P0307 codes. I will clear them and it will take anywhere between 3 days to 3 weeks before they show up again and they show up at the exact same time. There was only one time where it was bad enough to make the light actually blink. I had cleared the codes to see if they would come back right away and it took 4 days before they come back (about 75 miles) to just a solid light and I haven't seen it blink since. I have replaced the spark plugs, the wires, the coil that both cylinders are on, the evap purge valve, and the fuel injector in cylinder 7 but the light still comes back. I was wondering if cylinder 7 and 4 are directly connected in anyway or if there are any suggestions on what to try next. I am planning on replacing my thermostat to see if that will fix my P0125 code and I have already replaced the coolant temp sensor which did not fix that. For the misfiring, I am going to try replacing the Crank position sensor next. Are there any other suggestions? Anything would help because I would hate to throw parts at it as costs will add up. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
