I have a 94 Mustang 3.8 v6. I have put in a thermostat. I have changed the water pump. I have put in new anti freeze. At best I get heat in the car for 2 days and then cold as ice. I am ready to drive this thing off of a cliff. It is my daughters car and she is bugging the h#$@ out of me to get it fixed. HELP!

Try flushing the coolant system including heater core. May have a blockage in the system !

I have one of these icebergs too. One reason for this no heat problem, and I assume you have no other mechanical issues, is the lack of circulation due to piss poor design. If you notice both heater lines have basically the same pressure available from the water pump. The solution is rather rigged up but will work. Take the top radiator hose, cut it and insert a pipe "T" of appropriate size and with the one side of the t bushed down to accept the return hose from the heater core. This will gurantee flow and I think will solve the heat issue on this series car.
