Transmission problem
1967 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My mustang doesnt like to shift unless your like reving it up or flooring it. When driving it it slips out of gear and dont go back into gear unless you like put it to the floor while still in gear. My question is do you think this is the tranny or something else? Please help me

HI there,

It sounds as if your transmission is well over due for a service and inspection, get this done first and get a condition report, have a transmission specialist do this not a general mechanic.
