1995 Ford Mondeo Blower only works on Full Blast

Heater problem
1995 Ford Mondeo 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 175K miles

Have just bought this old 1.8i automatic Ford Mondeo estate. Its drives like new but Blower switch only works on level 4. This is a common problem on many older cars. Is it because the contact points on switch at levels 1,2 and 3 have simply worn away or is it due to relay 14 becoming faulty?

both are standard reason's for this fault ... i would go for the relay first .. simply because this is generally the main reason for this fault .. if thia doesn't cure the fault replace the switch ...

Check Resister in blower motor sounds like it is faulty
Had same trouble,
